Follow these organizing tips to keep your vacation a stress-free, time and money saving event:
Plan ahead. Create a general itinerary before you travel. Grab pen and paper and jot down your travel times, hotel check-in/check-out times, and a list of activities/places you’d like to visit. This will help you make sure you have allowed enough time to get to your destination, and whether or not you’ve scheduled too many activities for one day.
Create a checklist to help you pack. Keep it on the computer so you don’t have to write it over every time you leave home. Use it as a template and update it before each trip to include anything new such as medications, toiletries, accessories, etc.
Keep all information related to your trip in one place. Create a folder for papers such as reservations, confirmations, and tickets. When you look for the information you need before or during your trip, you’ll have it all at your fingertips.
Make sure your travel bags and luggage can stand up to the journey. The worst time to find out your carry-on is breaking apart at the seams is when you’re stuffing it into the overhead bin. Find that out ahead of time. Arriving at that expensive resort with a suitcase held together with rope is not a good look.
Make sure your health is protected while traveling to distant parts of the world, or, for that matter, your annual family trek to Disney World. Pack some travel vitamins. Yes, there are special vitamins made for travel. And, check out some good travel insurance while you’re at it. You never know when you’ll need it.
Again, whether it’s a trip around the world, or your family outings to the Great Smoky Mountains make sure your travel guides are up to date. You might be building your trip around an attraction that is now closed certain parts of the year, or, worse, has been closed the past several years.
Plan a trip well, and you can have all the spontaneous fun you want
Even though I don’t have plans to go anywhere, I checked on several travel gadgets. I learned this to a friend, who practiced preparedness in all aspects in her life including travel. She said that it is better this way, so that when opportunity strikes she is already ready. It would mean fewer worries for her. And it did work best for her.
I might as well try to do things her way. I used to prepare myself only when I need to. Of course, it oftentimes takes a toll on me. I worry about so many things the last minute. I feel it’s better to do things and purchase items useful for travel or any other items that I can use in the future.
Like a luggage for example, I have one luggage in my closet now. I want to purchase a new one and that is the Titan luggage because hubby and I have future travel plans. Scouting its price now will enable us to save in this item that we can use in the next few months. The same goes with some other stuff useful for travel.
I am not certain when I want to get married. But I am sure I want to tie the knot and I want to hold my honeymoon in a luxurious manner probably somewhere in the white-sand beaches of the Mexican Riviera Maya particularly at Azul Blue.
Azul Blue in the Riviera Maya is considered the world’s first stress-free hotel. Everything at this resort has been created to nurture your inner peace. It has 98 luxury suites overlooking the Mexican Caribbean with dedicated full-time butler that ensures everything necessary is done to make the vacation a truly relaxing one. This kind of resort makes it the best for destination weddings. After all, wedding preparations are really stressful. It would be nice to take it easy after the big event.
Its a good thing that I live in a tropical country with only two season summer and rainy seasons. Even though its rainy season, temperature is really hot and the rain just pours during the night. That would mean any time of the day, we can enjoy the beach.
Hubby and I were planning to go on a weekend getaway probably first week of October. We have to wait until because it’s my dad’s birthday week. One way or the other I can save money. Before that I need to buy a swimsuit.
It’s been quite a while since our last beach escapade. And my swimsuit is already outdated and it doesn’t fit me anymore. It’s already too tight because I already gained much weight now. That is why I need an updated one that fit my size, my body type. And I must think carefully about my figure and proportions before selecting a print or style. Everything changes now, so I have to be very careful if I want to look good.
Aside from that I am also in the mood to look around for summer apparels. I feel that we only experienced summer even though this time we should be experiencing the other season. But, as I observed the temperature is like the summer. But, having that kind of weather has its benefits as well. That is I don’t have to change styles every now and then. I can save more! Heheheh!
I think it’s fun and exciting to travel this time of the year. For sure there are not many people in most destination vacation. I don’t like super big crowd where I can get lost any time. Hehehe! Actually, I just thought about it after reading an article about Orlando Disney Land.
The Epcot Food and Wine Festival are currently going on at the Walt Disney World Resort’s Epcot theme park. And guest can enjoy the incredible cuisine and wine from around the world as Epcot turns into a food lover’s paradise. Or they can attend a tequila tasting seminar or learn to make delicious desserts. After working so hard during the day with muscles aching, it is so nice to think about spending family vacation to relax. I have been daydreaming that I am in Azul Beach Hotel located on secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya, pampering myself together with the rest of the family with surprising indulgences and the elite level of service. Combine it with luxurious accommodations, invigorating entertainment and the classy snap-to service that responds to discerning travelers’ requests (whether indulgent or diet conscious). I also see myself sipping margaritas served by a Beach Butler on a private stretch of sand during sunset. And eating food exquisitely prepared by expert chefs. That I can call life.
I wonder what it’s like to be in a place just for adults only. I think temperature will rise and will increase the intensity of romance. I have heard about an all Adults Only Mexico resorts located at the secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya. For all I know, this resort is one of the properties of Karisma Hotels that offer elite level of service and luxurious accommodations and invigorating entertainment. I learned all of this stuff when I was surfing the web way back I could not remember when. Silly me, I just want to try doing skinny-dipping, or swimming without anything. I know that there is a hidden resort for nudist. I am very conservative, but just for fun. I just want to know what it feels like.
