getting rid of my blemishes

For a long time, I’m looking for ways getting rid of my blemishes specifically blackheads and whiteheads. Of course, I’m not the type who just jumps into one product to the other as I might go overboard and will do harm to my skin. That is the reason I had difficulty getting rid of the problem.

Basically, blackheads are difficult to manage because they are embedded deep within the pores. Popping them out just makes the problem worse. If one finds the right blackhead treatment this will no longer be a problem. But, I wasn’t able to find the perfect formula for me. I’m still hopeful though, soon I will catch the right stuff to fix my problem once and for all.

Possible Causes of Early Menopause In Women

Basically, normal menopause is a gradual process that starts between the ages of 45 and 55. It is defined as occurring in women who have at least one ovary, and takes 5 to 10 years, though it can take up to 13 years. Early menopause, on the other hand, can start in the 30′s or early 40′s, in women who have at least one ovary.

Premature menopause has the advantage that the whole process is usually quicker than regular menopause. 1% of women will have finished their midlife transition by the age of 40. On the whole, 1 to 3 years is shaved off. There are a number of things that can lead to premature menopause. Sometimes these things are a result of lifestyle choices that include; poor nutrition, heavy smoking, heavy drinking, and chronic stress to the body – this can include excessive athletic training.

However, sometimes factors outside of a woman’s control lead to early menopause. For example, autoimmune disorders can affect menopause as well. Mumps and other serious viral infections can damage a woman’s eggs. Given that menopause is associated with fewer primary follicles being able to develop and ovulate, it is easy to see why a woman with fewer follicles, or damaged eggs unable to develop into an ovulatory egg, is prone to an earlier menopause.

If a woman has undergone radiation therapy or chemotherapy, large numbers of eggs can be destroyed. With fewer eggs left, menopause will be earlier than in healthy women. Some women are just born with fewer eggs. They will also experience premature menopause. When a woman’s mother underwent menopause is a good guide to her own genetic predisposition. [Read more...]

PMS Linked to Compulsive Shopping?

There are many things that women can blame on “that time of the month,” from uncontrollable cravings to moodiness and depression. However, this is not all that menstruation does each month to millions, as a new study has just linked it to overspending and compulsive shopping. Going out to buy new stuff is one of women’s best ways of dealing with PMS and all that it entails, the study suggests.

“The later women were in their menstrual cycle, the more likely they were to have overspent. Spending was less controlled, more impulsive and more excessive for women in the luteal phase. The spending behavior tends to be a reaction to intense emotions. They are feeling very stressed or depressed and are more likely to go shopping to cheer themselves up and using it to regulate their emotions.” Dr. Pine explains, as quoted by the Daily Mail. At the same time, she also points out that shopping is a “socially sanctioned way” of dealing with emotions, as compared to alcohol and drugs. [Read more...]

good thing he outgrow it

My brother suffers severe back acne during his teen years. He used to have a very supple and clear skin when he was young, but the situation changes when he reaches the age of 13. Pimples spread like wildfire all over his body including his neck, arms, chest, back and face. Mom doesn’t know how to deal with it because she too doesn’t know any effective acne treatment that is good for the entire body.

The poor guy purchased a lot of products from his allowance just to get rid of it. But, it worsens the condition that greatly affects his self-esteem. It hinders him from being socially active thinking that he has the worst face in the world. True he has friends and family to make him feel good, but it’s not working for him.

Good thing he was able to outgrow it. His pimples subside when he reached the age of 23. But, deep scars, keloids and black scars left in all those affected areas. Getting rid of them is his prime goal now.

dealing with difficult body parts

Honestly, I have been successful in my weight loss battle. I’m enjoying a sexier shape for almost five months now. But, I have to say I went through a difficult struggle before I reach my desired size. A combination of proper diet and exercise leads me to have a great shape.

However, there are parts of my body that are very difficult to deal with like the inner and outer thighs. The only thing I can think that can get rid of them easily is the use of weight loss creams. Unfortunately, I don’t have them in my cabinet yet. I’m still in the process of reading reviews in order to purchase the right one. I’m trying to avoid wasting money on products that have no effects even on other people. Reading product reviews will surely lead the way in picking the right creams. I just hope I find the right one the soonest so I can fit back in my skinny jeans.

physical symptoms of depression

Depression is a complex condition characterized by profound sadness, lethargy, feelings of worthlessness, and a loss of interest in social activities. These feelings can last for two weeks or go on for decades. The difference between the blues and clinical depression is one of length and severity of symptoms.

“Depression doesn’t always look or feel like a dark mood.  Irritability is one of the most under-recognized symptoms of major depression. Doctors also often overlook physical symptoms. Some 67% to 69% of people who receive a diagnosis of major depression also have muscle and joint pain, headaches, and fatigue,” says Rakesh Jain, MD, director of psychopharmacology at R/D Clinical Research Center, in Lake Jackson, Tex.

Depression is insidious because it often renders victims unable to ask for help: “I’ve had depressed patients tell me that they need a plan just to walk across the room.” Depression drains a person’s energy. The idea of visiting the doctor, figuring out whether your insurance plan will cover the visit, and filling prescriptions can be daunting when you’re depressed. If you’re already seeing one or more doctors for other health conditions, the difficulties associated with another illness can be overwhelming,” said Sharon Charles Haznedar, an administrative director for behavioral health services at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers.

lucky we are now

We are lucky people for living in a world of high technology. We were able to enjoy a lot of things that are not possible in the past like computer and internet. Actually, we heavily rely on those two things for information, business transactions, and even education. Yep, education is already in the picture.

Any person now wishing to earn a degree can do so even with their busy schedule. Even the military can now earn college degree online while they are serving their country. Basically, online military degrees can help them succeed whether they want to advance in their military career, or prepare for their exit from the military.

The MilitaryDegree.com can provide information about on-campus and online college credit and degree programs tailored to U.S. Military personnel and their families. Education benefits earned from being in the military can be used for tuition, and some schools even offer discounts for active duty and veterans. This is just one of the many benefits of high technology.
