Woooo… I think this is very interesting because it would greatly affect my relationship to hubby if this is true. It’s better sharing it with you.
According to Telegraph, the only thing we should keep in mind, to have a perfect marriage, is that the woman must be younger by 5 years and smarter than her partner in order for their marriage to work. They say this is the recipe the Geneva School of Business has come up with.
Though this theory is not new, a study conducted on over 1,000 subjects come to prove that, indeed, in order for marriage to work there has to be an age and IQ gap between wife and husband, with the scales tipped in her favor on both counts. Another prerequisite is that both partners should come from the same background, otherwise differences will only exacerbate in time and lead to the dissolution of the marriage, researchers believe.
“The academic study, published in the European Journal of Operational Research looked at 1,074 couples aged between 19 and 75 years, to find which social factors were most important to a long and happy relationship. Besides the man being five years older than his bride, and that his bride should share the same heritage, they concluded that a wife should be at least 27 per cent more intelligent than her husband. She should also hold a degree, while he should not. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the academics found that marrying a divorcee reduced the chance of wedded bliss,” the Telegraph says of the findings of the study.
Of course, there are also those who say that, while factors like age, IQ and background inevitably take their toll on the relationship and the institution of marriage, it’s hard to predict the chances of a relationship based on them alone, especially when it can fail even if they are met. Good thing they say that.
We all need to wind up once in a while as this will help rejuvenate our energy and senses. A long vacation or a simple weekend rv get away will do. However, there are times that a supposedly happy and memorable trip ends up to be a real disaster.
No matter how we try to prepare for that trip, there are instances that emergencies such as lost of items, getting sick or hurt, ran out of cash, and many more may arise. When this happens, it will just increase the stress that we intend to reduce. Also, there is a risk of overspending from the emergency.
That is the reason it is logical to have emergency assistance membership other than insurance. This is a very valuable especially during a crisis. It will ensure proper medical evacuation, return of traveling companion assistance, lost items assistance, worldwide medical information and so much more. It only implies that having it on hand will make you feel better even if there is emergency.
As we all know, there are a lot of different kinds of sandals on the market, offering a wide range of colors, styles and comfort. While some sandals are created to accompany colorful beachwear, there are other kinds that can be worn, such as with the sultriest of dresses. Other types of sandals are fashioned for adventurous individuals tackling hiking trails and other sports. In all these instances, you should find a pair that is comfortable; meaning taking care of your feet should come before fashion.
The best sandal for you is one that offers adequate support. Comfort and maintaining foot care are the most important factors to keep in mind. Take special care to the arch of your foot because this is the body part that helps to keep your posture, as well as allows you to properly walk. Try to purchase sandals that offer good arch support for your foot. You will find that some selections offer built in support while others, such as brands made from cork, will conform to your foot the more you wear them. Read the rest of this entry >>>
Basically, I am an inquisitive person. Every time an idea is thrown at me, I won’t stop until I thoroughly understand it. That’s most of the reason hubby get irritated at me as every time he communicates his daily activities, I have so many follow up questions.
Anyway, I’ve talked about gold bullions a lot of time. I’ve even mentioned that it is time to buy gold bullion. But, I soon realized I’m not yet ready and I need more time to understand how it works and how I will earn from it. Other than that I still need more money to finance the purchase.
But, that doesn’t stop me from hunting news related to it, if I have time of course. Yesterday since I’m too lazy and slow to do anything, I figured to check the latest buzz. I’ve learned that the Capital Market Supervisory Board approve the Gold exchange-traded funds (ETFs) to penetrate the Thailand stock market. They agreed last month to permit two different types of gold ETFs into the market namely ETF feeder fund investing in an overseas gold fund and an ETF directly investing in gold bullion in the local market.
Hmmm, that’s seems new and too near in my country. It means it calls for more information. But, that would be in the future. For now, I have to finish some of my pending tasks. Double time!
According to the latest study, intense treatment to lower blood sugar in patients with diabetes could prove nearly as harmful as allowing glucose levels to remain high. Cardiff researchers looked at nearly 50,000 patients with type 2 diabetes and found the lowest glucose levels linked to a heightened risk of death. Significant differences in death rates between patients on insulin and those taking tablets are also flagged up. But there could be various explanations for this, experts noted.
Patients taking insulin-based treatments have been urged not to stop taking their medication as a result of the study.
Using data from GPs, the team identified 27,965 patients aged 50 and above with type 2 diabetes whose treatment had been intensified to include two oral blood glucose lowering agents – metformin and sulphonylurea. A further 20,005 patients who had been moved on to treatment which included insulin were added to the study. Patients, whose HbA1c levels – the proportion of red blood cells with glucose attached to them – were around 7.5%, ran the lowest risk of dying from any cause.
