I already mentioned before about my intentions of going back to school to get master’s degree. But, I chicken out because of several reasons like finances, time, work and family. I’m already having hard time juggling all of them in one day. I don’t have any super powers and energy to add more to that.
Anyway, I just want to commend hubby’s sister for making it all possible. Her situation is different from me though since she has three nannies to do the chores and take care of the kids. Plus, her husband works shores away, so she doesn’t have to mind being a wife most of the time. And, she is a plain housewife. It all means she has lots of spare time to spend for schooling.
With all that being said she still thinks of moving to Online School. As I see it she is was able to manage her time perfectly. But, she said it’s the other way around although people see her as a good candidate to go to traditional schools. She feels awkward having very young classmates. Also, she no longer wants to sit in the crowded lecture halls, tracking down professors for office hours, and travelling to and from classes. That’s why she wants to transfer to online school to eliminate all the hassles of traditional studies.
It’s not a bad idea actually. Online education helps many students like her learn the right skills for the right jobs at the right times, on a flexible schedule. She can learn, grow, and flourish without many of the hassles traditional colleges and universities present. The decision is all up to her.
