Hubby keeps on reminding me to buy some contemporary rugs. He has been seeking to put something in the floor. He said it would greatly add design and would give the illusion that we have a bigger area. Well, I also attest to that especially if we picked the right design. We do have rugs in our hometown and it works like magic.

For that matter I checked on several designs from PlushRugs. I’ve seen several quality designs from this store. Now all we have to do is to specifically get the right size that we need. Like I said the size also matters in making the room look bigger.

Other than that, I also have to choose the right fabric and colors; the ones that would compliment or contrast with patterns of my bedding and window treatments. I’ve learned somewhere around the web that using a solid color, textured carpet is a great way to provide interest, without going to a multicolor, overall pattern.
