After realizing that hubby’s four year old Nokia N73 is already damaged, he is planning to buy a new one. Actually, the phone is still functioning. But, it will automatically shut down when in use especially during calls. He intends to buy the latest Iphone that costs way too much.
Well, it’s his money so deserves to spend it to things he likes. If ever, I will really recommend to purchase iphone warranty to protect the phone product failures. Yesterday, I was cooking a noodle dish that goes very bad. Actually, it tastes good as I make sure that it will still be edible after realizing I’m doing something wrong. I miscalculated its amount. The dish that is supposed to be good for only four people, but ends up it can feed at least 10.
Well, I have too many of the food because I did not follow any recipe. I only acted as if I’m a master cook that can manage without any help. Well, I’m that sometimes, but not all the time. My folks complained that I’m like feeding a party. But, they compliment its taste despite its amount.
This is a lesson for me to keep recipe books until I perfected the art of cooking. I guess I have to read several books and cook different kinds of dishes before that will happen. For now, I should not take risk or else I will continue wasting food.

While I was organizing my stuff, I saw an old wallet that is given to me by hubby five years ago. Sure, I forget about it. Five years is a long time to remember all the stuff he had given me. I’m just a bit surprised to see the things inside it including his first greeting card and few old foreign coins. It’s refreshing to remember our first dates and how he courted me.

Hubby keeps on reminding me to buy some contemporary rugs. He has been seeking to put something in the floor. He said it would greatly add design and would give the illusion that we have a bigger area. Well, I also attest to that especially if we picked the right design. We do have rugs in our hometown and it works like magic.
For that matter I checked on several designs from PlushRugs. I’ve seen several quality designs from this store. Now all we have to do is to specifically get the right size that we need. Like I said the size also matters in making the room look bigger.
Other than that, I also have to choose the right fabric and colors; the ones that would compliment or contrast with patterns of my bedding and window treatments. Like I said in some of my previous post, I also struggled to shed some pounds. But, even if I already reach my desired size, I’m still in constant battle to maintain it. One thing that pushed me to pursue my weight goal is the different successful weight loss stories. I always keep in mind that if they were able to make it, I can make it as well.
Giving up isn’t an option for me. Even if I already find myself exhausted and tired of going through the struggle, I have to continue. Those people, who were successful in their weight goals, are my inspiration. They shed some light to me every time I find myself almost quitting.
Now, I’m happy to the result of my hard work. It makes me feel really good and beautiful. Indeed, to have a great shape can boost confidence. That’s who I am today.
