As I wake up early this day I decided to do some blog stuff after making breakfast to hubby, which I did for at least an hour. But, before I can finish writing something about the life insurance I found in the web, I started to feel sleepy. And I can’t finish a post again. My dropping eyes over powers my willingness to update my blog.
So, I slump myself in the bed and I don’t know what happened next. I just wake up at around 11 before lunch time. I slept for four hours in the morning. Probably my tummy signals my body to wake up because I’m already hungry. It’s too bad.
Now, I forget the good stuff I have in my head earlier this day. I can’t remember the words I already constructed in my head. They just fly away and leave me with no idea. Hopefully, I’ll be able to retain them because those ideas seem to be a good update for this blog.
Knowing that you are sick is already frustrating and stressful. But, it is more depressing to know that there is no known cure for it just like Mesothelioma cancer. By definition, mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Malignant cells develop in the mesothelium, a protective lining that covers most of the body’s internal organs.
Most people who develop this disease have worked on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos dust and fiber in other ways. Family member of the workers exposed to asbestos is also at risk of getting the disease. However, the sad truth is that mesothelioma is preventable. Almost all companies using asbestos to create a product know the danger of asbestos.
Victims of this disease must find the right assistance to get what is due to them and to sustain their medication as it is a difficult disease to treat effectively. Treatment may take long and might cost more than expected. Pursuing legal cases toward the negligent companies may not reverse the effect of asbestos, but it can help to alleviate the burdens of medical bills and financial hardship.
Perhaps, when you look in your closet you see dresses that you like or are there many, many old, out of style dresses that you wouldn’t dare be seen in? Well, fashions do change over time and naturally the cut and style of modern dresses is very different from even 20-30 years ago. Why? Fashions change, tastes change and of course people simply get bored of wearing the same old dresses.
The beginning of more divergent trends in fashion was 1970s and 80s. This was the result of the increasing popularity of ready-to-wear collections by major designers, which made fashionable label-conscious dressing possible for the middle class. You’ll find that every store has dozens of trendy labels that portray the image style and class. Today most people simply buy their dresses of the shelf, no need to have each individual item of clothing handmade.
When you’re looking for the right dress to wear, don’t worry too much about it being the perfect one. Dresses come in all styles, shapes, colors and materials. Try this approach: Read the rest of this entry >>>
This week, one of my mission or goal is to find a free directory submission service. Even if I am just maintaining a blog, I still need some audience. Sure, I can use entrecard to increase my traffic. But, I want more. Hehehe! I’m just joking.
Actually, I am just curious of the benefits of submitting my sites in directories. I’ve been doing post for this service for quite some time, and yet I haven’t tried the service. Isn’t that ironic? That is the reason, I really want to venture into using this service. Why not if people say it can do something beneficial for my blog, then I’ll grab it. Just like that. Hehehe!
When a person gets older, things will really change especially for their physical activities. My mom and dad used to love doing the grocery, strolling the malls and parks and just spend the day out. However, now that they are in their 50s, they seldom go out of the house. Even if I gave them money, they will just say they are tired. Also, they keep on whining about their ankle and knee pain.
They don’t want to drink pain reliever if they don’t know and assured it’s made of natural joint pain relief ingredients. They still have to scrutinize the products first and see if it’s safe to use.
Well, getting old really requires many precautions. And I can’t do anything about that.
Make sure your travel bags and luggage can stand up to the journey. The worst time to find out your carry-on is breaking apart at the seams is when you’re stuffing it into the overhead bin. Find that out ahead of time. Arriving at that expensive resort with a suitcase held together with rope is not a good look.
Make sure your health is protected while traveling to distant parts of the world, or, for that matter, your annual family trek to Disney World. Pack some travel vitamins. Yes, there are special vitamins made for travel. And, check out some good travel insurance while you’re at it. You never know when you’ll need it.
Again, whether it’s a trip around the world, or your family outings to the Great Smoky Mountains make sure your travel guides are up to date. You might be building your trip around an attraction that is now closed certain parts of the year, or, worse, has been closed the past several years.
Plan a trip well, and you can have all the spontaneous fun you want
One of my friends will be giving birth in three months time. It’s really nice to know that she is now becoming a mommy. So, I am thinking of a nice way to great her baby in this world. Hosting a baby shower party is not an option for me. I am too busy to do that. Hubby suggests that it’s better to give her something instead.
Well, I guess that thing would be either baby clothes or Bob stroller. Let’s see which one is the best. If I give her baby clothes and I haven’t known the baby’s gender, then it would be wastes if the clothes I give are for the opposite gender. But, it is safer to give a unisex stroller. Either gender can use it. So, I already made a choice.
By all means, cholesterol is a natural component of our body. It is a waxy, fat-like substance made in the liver and found in certain foods, such as from animals, like dairy products, eggs, and meat. It is needed by our body to function properly, make vitamin D, build cell walls, and create bile salts that help you digest fat. However, too much cholesterol can increase a person’s risk of developing heart disease arterial disease and strokes.
Contributing factors to having high blood cholesterol may be controllable while others are not. And these include: diet high in saturated fat and cholesterol, lack of exercise, family history, being overweight, age and gender cholesterol levels rise with increasing age, and men are more likely to be affected than women, and drinking too much alcohol.
There are two ways to lower cholesterol levels. One is with the help of lifestyle changes including changing diet, managing weight and increasing exercise. The other is the combination of lifestyle changes with prescribe cholesterol treatment.
However, prevention is better than cure. Any person may be able to prevent the development of high cholesterol by maintaining a healthy weight, eating a healthy diet, stopping smoking, not drinking excessive amounts of alcohol and taking regular exercise. But, this may not apply to some especially those that have family history of high cholesterol. They might get it even if they live a healthy lifestyle.
Adding to your cellulite creams, lotions and gels, there is a procedure called endermology that has many women reporting extraordinary results. It is actually a large mechanical pressure device that uses a technique similar to the process of a rolling pin rolling out dough to make cookies. This action kneads the problem areas with substantial pressure to break down the aforementioned collagen bands, and smooth the sponginess and puckering out for an even and toned appearance. Drawbacks are it is expensive and does require return visits for maintenance, it can be an uncomfortable and even slightly painful process, and it may result in some temporary bruising.
Another option is oral herbal or medicinal remedies for cellulite. Beware though. There have not been significant studies or proof verifying whether these products actually produce results. I cannot recommend investing in or experimenting with these newer products until substantial findings or proofs are published regarding their effectiveness.
So, what else causes cellulite? This question is still the subject of scientific debate. Definitely this is mostly affects women, so there is much speculation that the underlying cause is hormonal in nature. Many other studies suggest it is related to age, diet, genetics, and fitness/level of activity. It has been noted that strength and toning exercises, as well as steady weight maintenance will help with the appearance of cellulite. Frequent weight fluctuation, high fat diets, and even excessive carbonated beverages have been some of the suspected culprits as well.
