interesting book for coin lovers

Numismatic bookIt’s Saturday once again. Where Monday goes? Time is really so fast these days, before you know it, it’s over. This is probably the result of being too busy. I can no longer appreciate things that unfold in my daily life. Like today, it’s Saturday and the day for me and hubby to be with each other supposedly. Yet, I still have tons and tons of things to do. And, I must take advantage of the time I am in front of my computer.

Enough about that, first of all I want to write about the book I found last night. I accidentally hit one button that leads me to this book, but I am so sleepy to write about it. The book is called Numismatic Photography by Mark Goodman and published by Zyrus Press. For those unfamiliar with the subject, numismatics is the study or collection of currency, including coins, tokens, paper money, and related objects like photograph coins.

As the use of the Internet and electronic visual media becomes more of a vital part of the coin industry, photographing coins, either raw or slabbed, has become an increasing concern with collectors and dealers. However, this book is a great tool to address concerns and issues on coin photography. It teaches the reader in an easy-to-read and visually rich guidebook format on how to image quality photos of coins using digital camera. Whether novice or experience photographers Goodman addresses typical problems faced by the photographer, recommend ways of improvements and offers specific tips and techniques for raw silver or gold coin and slabbed coins. Tips to Save on Groceries

Can you notice that regardless of how many people you have to buy groceries for each month, the grocery bill is always a consistently huge household expense? If you plan well before going to the store and apply the following suggestions, you will be able to successfully spend less on groceries on a regular basis.

  • Make a grocery budget and stick to it. Consider the amount of money that you have been spending over the last few months at the grocery store and then calculate an average that you can use for your budget. As you get better at finding bargains, you will eventually be able to lower this amount and save even more.
  • Discuss and establish a menu that lasts two weeks with the entire family. This will help you to use the same menu items more than once will maintaining a variety in meals. At the same time you will be wasting less time and still keeping everyone in the family satisfied.
  • Use the menu and the recipes for the different items to develop your grocery list. Be sure to check your pantry, fridge and freezer first so you don’t buy too much of an item. It can be helpful to put the grocery list in the order that you will find the items in the store. Jot down your estimate for the cost and total it up. If you don’t come in under budget, you may have to do some adjusting or cutting.
  • Buy in bulk, when it saves you money and is possible. Make sure to compare prices before buying, since bulk purchases do not always work out to be cheaper. Non-perishable items are the best choices, like paper products and cleaning supplies that you can use any time. If you opt to buy meat in bulk quantities, make sure you repackage it individually before you store them.

laziness kicks me again

Once again, my laziness kicks in leaving me sleepy all day. I think I have to blame this to my sedentary lifestyle. I haven’t had a physical activity for the past few weeks and I have been sleeping at different time of the night. Probably my body clock no longer knows what to do.

The only thing that keeps me busy is watching television, sleeping and daydreaming that I’d be going to one of those orlando vacations, taking pictures in the Disney world and having the time in my life. My laziness goes on for two days.

That is the reason; hubby pushed me to sleep really early yesterday and woke me up early this day to exercise. Hahaha! He said: I am not good if I can’t sleep well during the night. He said: I get him hungry because I don’t cook; I am so irritable that simple things make me so mad and lastly my work piled up because I just like to sit or lie down and do nothing else. Okay, now that I am fine he now takes my place. Until 12 this day he is still sleeping. Hahaha! Good thing today is Sunday, so I leave him like that.
