interesting program on TV

interesting program on TVWhenever I am bored, I just watch television instead of going out. And I scan the channels until I get the program I liked. Yesterday, I got interested in “the making of transformers.” I like this movie a lot, even the animated series. I am surprised to learn that the action is not just effects. The director, Michael Bay, chooses to blow things in the middle of the city. And, even cast real armies in the middle of the dessert.

Another thing that made me wow is the bumble bee car, which is a yellow Chevrolet Camaro with few enhancement. Actually, all of the cars and trucks used amazed me. All of it looks really good. Thanks to several auto accessories attached. The cars appear different instead of factory styled cars. Hmmm it gives me the idea of enhancing the look of my future car. Hehehe!

safety measures that must be done

Not long ago a robbery happened few meters away from the house. We even hear the girl scream and the gun fire despite the high volume of our tv. The robbers fled using their motorbikes, but they are bold enough to return to the scene to confront some of the people including our landlady who responds to the victim. They told them that she was shot because she tried to fight back and rush off.

It is a dreaded scene. The people are helpless because they have guns. From that, we also learned that it was not the first incident of robbery in this area. There are a number of cases happened before we moved in here. Of course, the news broke our hearts because we are not safe even if we are just meters away from a busy road.

Few measures must be taken. We don’t want to wait for the robbers to get into the apartment and rob us. The tall grass and trees, in which they can hide and jump on the passers, were cut. Our landlady installed barbed wire in our almost 12 feet tall solid concrete fence. And, she also fixed the gate locked.

As for hubby and I thought of installing wireless alarms. But, we dropped the idea because we have plans of transferring before December ends. Aside from that, we must discuss the idea with the other renters because we are in one compound. They may or may not agree with it. For those reasons, we postponed the idea until we can move to a place that we will reside permanently.

endless surfing vacation

endless surfing vacationDo you wish your life was a never ending surf vacation? Well, make waves by choosing longer-lasting, sustainable surf gear. Regular, petroleum-based stuff ends up staying in our ecosystems for a long time, and it isn’t any more durable than eco-friendlier options. If you like you can try these:

  • Grain Surfboards – lower than average, made sustainable cedar surfboards.
  • Hess Surfboards – custom made using reclaimed and sustainable wood, cork, and only half the fiberglass of a conventional surfboard.
  • Ocean Green Surfboards – made from balsa wood harvested from sustainable forests, with a hemp (not fiberglass) skin.
  • Body Glove Eco Wetsuit – the world’s first eco-wetsuit; petroleum-free and produced with a tenth of the energy of standard wetsuits.
  • Mantunas Wax – petroleum-free, biodegradable surf wax in recycled-paper packaging.

Benefits would be less petroleum use. Try apparel, boards, and wax that are free of oil byproducts. (Oil doesn’t biodegrade easily and it’s a finite resource.) Another is a sustainable wood. Our board-maker picks use only wood harvested from trees that aren’t cut down faster than they’re replaced. And a longer-lasting gear. More durable boards mean you’ll buy fewer over time. So, think about it now!

my undergarments shopping

When I think about shopping, it’s more of clothes, shoes and accessories. I never thought of including undergarments on my list. That is why most of the time I ran out of these items in my closet. Now, I have to change that because I also need support within my clothes. So, let the shopping for bras and other undergarments begin.

But, first I have to narrow down my list or I might overwhelm myself with so many undergarments to choose from. What do I really need as of this time? I can start my search from the answer to that question, which is, sports bras.

I’m actually doing my exercise regularly these past few days. Since I don’t have enough sports bras, I have no choice, but to wear bras that could not support my breast from exercise. I have to admit, doing so is really uncomfortable sometimes painful for me. That’s why, I need to buy these item once in for all.

There are too little choices in the mall, so I preferred to do my shopping in the web. I feel so good knowing my preferred store the Herroom has international shipping. Shipping is the first feature important feature I am looking in any online store since I am continents away from US. The second thing is of course the products sold. Well, I do find a lot of sports bras, tees, sleepwear, sexy lingerie and even nursing bras. And favorite items are on sale including the one in the picture. Yepey! That would be it, I doubt if I ran out of underwear again with the number of items I have in my cart. Hehehe!

being vain

If I’m not watching television, most people find me in front of my computer playing games or simply surfing the net almost about anything. I like checking beauty products, make up, clothes, accessories and so much more. I’m supposed to be a typical shopaholic that cannot afford to be. Hahaha!

I am actually thinking since I like beautifying myself; why not put it into practice. That way I will not just benefit from looking good, but others as well. Plus, I can make money from it. Before that, I must have a certification from a beauty school.

In my search, I found several cosmetology schools in indiana, but not nearby. It is being said that those campuses in Indiana mirror upscale salons and provide an exceptional education that benefits our students, the salon community, and the public. Probably if I do manual research in my area, I’ll find one. But, I am too lazy to do that.

the Gift of Failure

the Gift of FailureDuring this holiday’s, we are reminded to reflect on the bounty in our lives. Most of us have jobs, family, a place we call home and food on the table, and for these things and our ability to obtain them we should be grateful. But what about those who are struggling with financial difficulties, bad relationships, or employment problems? Do they owe any thanks for their circumstances? Can failure really be a gift in disguise?

Well, failures teach us about process. Thomas Edison tried over 9,000 designs before he created a working light bulb. A young reporter asked him how he felt after having failed 9,000 times. Edison replied, “I didn’t fail – I just learned 9,000 ways not to make a light bulb.”

We must see that failure is often a clue to redirect our efforts in a different direction and to follow a different set of plans. How many times have we learned how not to sell a product, how not to get a new job, or how not to judge a future mate? If a series of failures leads us to open our minds to new knowledge or information, or gives us the willingness to try different behaviours’ then we haven’t failed, we’ve learned how to create different results.

determination to lose weight

I am determined to lose weight that is the reason I started dieting and exercising a few months from now. But the first few days of my goal is really difficult. My hunger is killing me. Don’t get me wrong because I don’t do crash dieting. I just cut my food intake by like two cups of rice became one and half and no more junk foods in between meals. But, my gastric juice is making me crazy. I am always craving for something. All I want to do is to eat food like I used to. Of course, I always think of my weight.

Sometimes, I am persuaded to look for the best weight loss pills just to stop my torment. I want to give up and just become the normal eater me. But, giving up is not an option. My will power is stronger than my hunger. Is it? Sigh!
