I must admit that for the past few months, I am tempted to apply as sales representative, which is way beyond my qualifications. I have been seeing lots of job postings for this job. And I am really attracted with the car plan. I think it’s the easiest way to drive a car. The problem is that I have no marketing background. I do not have enough sales experience to qualify for this job. But, let’s just see!
With regards to the car, I just wonder how the company manages the cost for their sales person. There must be some sort of a third party Fleet program. Employees can just lie about the cost they incur during their trip, no one will know. I am not generalizing all, but I know there are few who are doing hocus-pocus. It is unavoidable for a human being to be tempted.
Basically, fleet programs from a third party greatly help companies reduced cost. They will be the one that will determine the actual cost of fuel, taxes, parking tickets and so much more for the assigned area of the employee. An employee can no longer take advantage of the fuel expenses for his or her personal use. Or there is no way that he or she can cheat the company by filling fuel of friends or family car. This is a good way for companies especially during difficult times like recession.
