formal affair entails formal outfit

When we say formal affair, it entails formal outfit. It’s common to see tuxedo on men and dresses on woman. It turned out that some people doesn’t really care to events specific dress code. I have been to an event with a formal theme. However, I haven’t seen one wearing a tux or a long dress. I am also guilty about that. It seems the event is more of semi-casual theme rather than the supposedly formal one. Most people have their preference of formal. It’s no longer the same thing like before. But, I think it will not be that way when the event is a wedding. Let’s just see about that.
