Attend a party with a perfect blush. Use a powder blush on your cheeks with a fluffy blush brush. To ensure even application, make sure to dust your cheeks with translucent or foundation powder first to matte down your moisturizers or oils on your face. Apply your makeup in a well-lit bathroom or window so you can see your blush as others will see it. Dip your brush in the blush and tap off the excess, and gently apply it to the apples of your cheeks, the fleshy part of your cheeks when you smile, in circles, blending all the way to the hair line and around the apples. Remember that a wide blush is natural looking. A small angled or contoured blush looks dated and cheap.
