guys drink tea not beer!

For all guys who loves to drink and wants to stay healthy. Try to drink a pint a day of tea not bear. A pint a day could dramatically cut your chances of dying from coronary heart disease.

It was found that men with the highest intake of catechins –natural chemicals found mostly in tea, chocolates and apples – were more likely to avoid premature death.

Catechins prevent hardening of the arteries and help mop up harmful substances in the blood that might otherwise contribute to heart disease.

A few cuppas – cups of tea – and a small piece of dark chocolate or 12oz of apple juice have enough catechins to cut the risk of heart disease by a whopping 25 percent.

difficult to shed pounds!

For some reason, I find it very difficult to shed pounds I gained from being so inactive. I just learned that a balance diet is the key to weight loss. Whole grains, low-fat dairy, green vegetables, orange veggies, beans, nuts we need to eat these regularly to reach a healthy body weight. It is good start, but I want to hasten the process so I look for the best diet pills available in the market. Not only that, I am also planning to add exercise which I don’t usually do, to get better results.

relish relationship!

Perhaps one of the best things to relish relationship is through going on vacation together like at the Outer Banks and sipping wines. To get the best wine, take a look at it carefully. More color in your wine means more flavour, more years. Reds, however, lose color as they age. Swirl your wine to see its body. Thicker body means higher alcohol content. Then, smell your wine. Take either a quick whiff and work on its initial impression, or take one deep whiff and study it. Sweetness and acidity must always balance. After an initial taste, taste buds should react to it. Take another sip and study its texture around your mouth. With a perfect wine at hand, you will surely enjoy each other much better.

Where does the word family come from?

The word family first referred to the servants of a household and then to both the servants and the descendants of a common ancestor. It comes from the Latin word familia, meaning ‘household; household servants’, which came from another Latin term famulus, or ‘servant’. It was not until 1667 that the term was used specifically for the group of persons consisting of parents and their children. The word daughter is a very old English word, first recorded c. 1000 as dohtor. It descends from Old English and is related to words in many other Indo-European languages, such as Greek thugater. The modern spelling daughter was first used in a 16th century Bible and was popularized by Shakespeare. The word son is quite a bit older, found in Beowulf in 645. It also descends from Old English and is related to words in many other Indo-European languages, such as Greek huios. Mother is one of the surviving words from Anglo-Saxon (starting as modor), which are among the most fundamental words in English. Mother has many cognates in other languages, including Old High German muoter, Dutch moeder, Old Norse mothir, Latin mater, Greek meter, and Sanskrit mat. These words share an Indo-European root. Mother is one of the Anglo-Saxon nouns that has an Anglo-Saxon adjective as well as a Latinate adjective – motherly and maternal – and motherly also came from Old English (modorlic). Mom, a shortened form of momma, was recorded in 1894; momma was first used in 1884. Both are chiefly North American uses. Mamma and mama, created by children reduplicating an instinctive sound, are much earlier terms, showing up in the 1500s. In between came mommy (also North American in usage) in 1848, which was a variant of mammy (also 1500s). Father is derived from Latin pater and has cognates in many other languages; the word entered Old English as feder and foeder (among others).

After the holidays…

After the holidays, you can store luggage in a cabinet, or in an area with less moisture. Avoid plastic bags that trap moisture. Opt for boxes instead.

Take out your luggage pieces at least once a month, whether used regularly or in storage. Clean using plain water and a soft brush. Check for possible damaged areas.

Don’t over stuff them as zippers and seams may get strained. Put the heavier items at the bottom when packing for your trip this holidays.

thinking of your parents!

As a child, we thought that our parents would live forever. They were there from the first time we had our first step up to when got married and had children of our own. You think of your parents as the same two people who sent you off to college, but when you look at them now, you ask things are so different. They got so old and you suddenly realize that you might have to start taking care of them soon, if you aren’t ready. It’s a difficult task, for sure, but with the right mindset and enough preparation, you will be able to make what would have been a sticky situation easier for you and your parents. As seniors, you should be getting them seniors life insurance for their peace of mind.
