
When washing jeans, turn them inside out to slow down fading. To keep the indigo hue looking fresh, wash your new looking pair along with the older ones. Concerned about shrinking? Don’t worry. Denim is resilient and most of them have been pre-shrunk through many washes before they hit the sales racks. At the most, denim trousers cab shrink up to about two inches over its full length.
When ironing pleats on pants, you can use paper clips to secure the intended line for the pleat. Begin ironing on the underside of the pants, removing one clip at a time. Iron a pleat, replace the clip, and move to the next one. When you finish, turn it right side out and repeat the process. For a flawless finish, remove the paper clips as you work up each leg of the iron to smooth out the pleat.
