Cleaning the bathroom

We all know that the bathroom has a reputation for being the worst room in the house to clean. But, it doesn’t have to be that way. Here are some simple things you can do every day to stop bacteria, mold, and mildew in their tracks.

  • Use daily no wipe shower cleaner to prevent soap-scum buildup. Squeegee doors and walls after each shower to discourage mold. Use exhaust fan or open a window while showering to vent the moist air.
  • Keep sanitizing wipes on hand for cleaning on the fly.
  • Hang towels so they will dry as quickly as possible.
  • Wipe sink, faucets, and countertop after the final use every morning.
  • Use a flush-release cleaning product in the toilet bowl. Or brush the bowl daily to keep it clean.
  • Pour all-purpose cleaner in the toilet brush holder to keep it fresh and ready to use.
  • Once a week, give your bathroom a more thorough top to bottom cleaning. Use a diluted solution of all purpose cleaner or a commercial bathroom cleaner to clean sinks, counters, and shower stalls.
  • Use separate sponges or cleaning cloths for cleaning the toilet area, which is likely to have the highest concentration of germs.
  • Avoid storing toothbrushes near the toilet. With every flush, particles of water can spray and land up to 20 feet away. Always close the toilet lid before flushing.

your home office!

If you will be spending long hours at your home office, then it would be logical to decorate it with colors you love. People have different preferences and color affects ones mood and work atmosphere. Try painting majority of the walls in a neutral shade like off-white or beige. Then, add color to just one wall. Accessories should follow the same accent color.

The entire home office can be built into a whole closet space with its own shelves and drawers. Ensure that everything you’ll need is within reach every time. This goes with equipment like printers, scanners, phones and so on. The chair can be tucked under the table, and the closet doors kept closed when the office is not in use. This also prevents valuable files from getting lost, especially if you have little kids running around the house.

Solution for short lashes

Do you envy women with long eyelashes? But, you can’t stand extensions or false eyelashes that look fake? Get a mascara brush, a mascara and an eyelash curler instead. Choose a mascara brush with broad and hollow bristles for thicker application. Brushes that have longer bristles for thicker natural definition to your lashes, while comb like bristles lengthen and separate the lashes at once. Even the sparsest lashes will open up with an eyelash curler. A little crimping will curl the lashes and define your eyes.

build a better breakfast

Always eat a better breakfast because it will help you to lose weight. A well-balanced meal at the start of the day is the key part to any stay-slim plan. Research shows that breakfast eaters typically consume about 100 fewer calories during the course of the day and weigh less more that those who forgo food in the morning. This strategy works in the long run, too. You can lose up to 30 pounds a year or longer if you have breakfast every day. An extra perk of eating a nutrient dense morning meal: it supplies glucose to your brain to help you think clearly and function optimally until lunchtime. If you couple it with alli diet pills, then it will speed up losing those excess weight.

business is like raising child!

Giving birth to a business is a lot like raising a child where you have to closely watch over it, nurture it and make it grow until such time when it can stand on its own. These days, more people are taking entrepreneurship route, as being their own boss affords them flexible time that’s not available in nine to five jobs. Good thing, at this time we can find small business opportunity available in the market. All you have to do is study what will work for you.

beat the bacteria!

Here’s how to protect you from the bacteria that may get sent home with the groceries,

  • Wipe up. Lots of retailers now place antibacterial wipes near shopping carts and produce departments for cart clean ups. If they don’t, put in a request or carry antibacterial hand sanitizer with you.
  • Wash off. Always rinse fruits and vegetables under running tap water before you eat them that should put your E. coli worries to rest and offset the fact that veggies are squeezed almost as much as the charmin.
  • Use food thermometer. You love the roasted chicken under the hot lights but it’s not at 140 degrees or hotter is could be germy. Warm it to a temperature of 165 degrees at home to kill bacteria. Cook ground meat to 160 degrees, roasts and steaks to 165 and fish to 145 degrees.
  • Refrigerate fast. Get groceries to your fridge as soon as possible, definitely within an hour. If you have to run errands or face a long commute, carry an insulated bag or a cooler and buy ice to bed down the perishables.
