our living room

Last June, the owner of our boarding house arrived for a month vacation. She happens to be an internal doctor, which is just a coincidence since hubby is a nurse. Hmmm a little connection huh! She was so restless and can’t seem to sit still for 30 minutes. I was amazed by her energy, if that would be me I’ll surely be in deep slumber after a 16 hour flight. She instantly went to the mall to buy stuff but what struck us most, is that she bought 3 dozens of disposable diaper. She says it’s her grandmothers supply. She seems to love her so much. Isn’t it obvious? Well, they were not able to transport all diapers to her grandmother’s house and the remaining dozen is still in the living room.

Healthy Heart and Beautiful Me! hehehe

You may know that eating whole grains lower your risk of heart disease. But you may not know how little it takes to make a difference. When researchers’ analyzed studies involving nearly 150,000 men and women, they found that people who ate more whole grains – an average of two and a half servings every day – had a 21 percent lower risk of developing heart disease. Have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and a sandwich on whole-grain bread for lunch and you’re there – in fact, you’re to the three servings a day experts advocate as a way to cut the risk of other diseases as well.

Well, that’s all for now, have to beautify myself by plucking my excess eyebrow hair. Good thing I have my rubis tweezers. Have to do it so hubby would not tease me for my excess hair.

her oversize TV

The housekeeper of our boarding house is planning resign and gives herself time to finish her studies. Well, hubby and I helped her in choosing the best luggage for her closet. We stroll to the mall sometime last week and found a 50% luggage sale. Perfect! But, she doesn’t have money at that time and might just come back later to buy it. Hmmm there is a little problem by the way; she is bringing with her an old TV given to her by the owner of the house. Let’s see, it is a 21 inch TV with an oversize rear and case. She is wondering where she can get custom boxes that would fit this TV. Well, it’s for us to find out.

my yucky acne!

Just like every other girl, I do have morning rituals. Aside from thanking God that I was able to wake up, I always go to the mirror and check my face. To my dismay, I woke up this morning with a huge bulge of acne in my forehead. I immediately ask hubby’s help to buy me some acne cream in the nearby drugstore. However, instead of helping me, he laughs out so loud and teases me. I was forced to go the store and got so mad with him. I am just hoping this thing will go away from my forehead. ASAP!

Quite impressed!

Quite impressed by the movie we watched earlier today, although we have watched Forbidden Kingdom in the movie house, but my friend was able to get a copy of it. We’re lucky that it consists of closed captioning system. We were able to enjoy the movie better than with watching it in the big screen. I’m just wondering where my friend got such copy. Well, at least I was able to get the thought of having closed caption since I fully understand the movie I watched.
