Fleas: Fleas hate laurel leaves, rue, and winter savory. Crush and place under rugs, sofa cushions, doormats, etc.. Add a tsp. of vinegar to your pets drinking water.

Flies: Hang sprigs of lavender, mint, pennyroyal, peppermint, or rue. Make potpourris out of lavender. Grow any one of these herbs in and / or outside of your house.

Moths: Make sachets out of lavender, lemon, thyme, mint, rosemary, tansy, or wormwood. Place in linen closets and drawers and in closets.

Weevils: Place bay leaves on shelves and in cupboards. Put a whole leaf in with your flour, rice and dried beans.

Mice: Place sprigs of tansy or mint on your shelves, cupboards and anywhere mice have been seen to deter them.

Hubby went home a bit late this day. Although I feel bad since he left me alone with so many things to do, I can’t argue with him. I convinced him earlier this day to accompany me to my friend and for a picture taking. He did not bother to complain despite the fact that our schedule is full packed. For that, I can’t argue with him as well. Plus, he just went to his sister that has defective computer. She is only depending on hubby in fixing computers. I guess I will just let this pass by. It would be better that way.

for my friend’s little girl

With these makeup and skin care tips, you’ll look awake and refreshed, which may confuse people when you doze off during your morning.

  1. Don’t pile on too much cream before bed; it’ll just increase puffiness. Instead, use a lighter gel with peptides or botanicals.
  2. Pop your eye cream or an eye mask in the refrigerator for five minutes to make it cool. Not cold though, that may pop blood vessels. Leave it on for 20 minutes. You can also use cold tea bags. Black or chamomile teas are best for their anti-inflammatory properties. To do it: Make tea. Drain excess, pop in fridge and once cool, place on lids.
  3. Exercise if you have time to get your circulation going. Hang upside down or do some downward dogs — it’ll help reverse the blood flow and help with dark circles.
  4. Chances are if you’re tired and/or stressed out your skin will show it by breaking out or becoming severely dehydrated. The key is to not overdo makeup in either instance. Keep it looking radiant with a tinted moisturizer that has a nice healthy sheen to it. If you’re oily try a mineral powder foundation.
  5. Use a concealer that is slightly light reflective. The reflective qualities will add light and luminescence to the area.
  6. Cream blushes are great way to make skin look healthy and glowy. Apply on apples of cheeks and a tiny bit on your temples.

As I pick up my pictures at the photo shop, I am so happy to see that it’s perfect. They edited my perfect for a picture perfect. My scars are gone, flawless skin and a taller nose. It feels like it’s me, but it’s not really me. But, I think it’s ideal since I am applying for a job. I should place the best picture in my resume to get the attention of my potential employer. Although it is not the basis for getting hired at least I can create an impression that I prepared for it.

after-a-hard-day-workAfter working so hard during the day with muscles aching, it is so nice to think about spending family vacation to relax. I have been daydreaming that I am in Azul Beach Hotel located on secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya, pampering myself together with the rest of the family with surprising indulgences and the elite level of service. Combine it with luxurious accommodations, invigorating entertainment and the classy snap-to service that responds to discerning travelers’ requests (whether indulgent or diet conscious).
